The season has just got going and now we have to break off for some international football which I know always splits opinion.
It is perhaps the most annoying break of them all after having to wait for so long for the get-go but at least this time there is some optimism around England.
Obviously, too, it’ll be nice to see our players in action but it will concern Marco Silva how many are involved in a way with only seven senior players set to be about Finch Farm.
Indeed, thanks to injuries and call-ups the Daily Record reckons the number could be as low as that until we start seeing returns next week.
Plenty of clubs like us have the same problem, of course, but it is still and issue especially as Silva will still be trying to get his ideas across.
All we can hope for is that they all come back unscathed.
