As expected, speculation linking Ademola Lookman with a move away from Everton this summer to RB Leipzig isn’t going away despite the closure of the Premier League permanent window as transfer windows abroad remain wide open for deals.
The 20-year-old had a successful spell out with them on loan last season, scoring five times in 11 appearances and Leipzig’s press behaviour so far as they try and work a deal has been shoddy to say the least and there are those fans who think they should be told one answer only on the back of those efforts.

£25million seems palatable to me given his original cost, the question is does he want to stay ultimately. If not then for £25million don’t let the door hit you on your way out.
If he wants to stay, then it’s about time he went public, thanked RB for their interest but apologised to Everton that his pre-season has been affected by the speculation and all he wants to do is knuckle down and prove that to the fans.
