The price of success: Report names fee interested parties must pay for Everton sensation

|

Our season has not seen much in terms of success, with Marco Silva’s debut campaign on Merseyside rather the start of a rebuilding mission, but Richarlison taking to life at Goodison like a duck to water is expected to have generated a lot of interest in his availability.

Thankfully, we are not understood to be aiming to cash-in on the Brazilian come the summer, however, Football Insider have been told by a club source how much we value the 21-year-old.

Supposedly, a source from within Everton has suggested that we are convinced Richarlison’s price has nearly doubled from the £35million plus add-ons we handed Watford last summer, and if anyone wants him, they will have to flutter £80m for our “goldmine”.

If all bonus payouts to the Hornets are completed, that would signal a £30millon profit inside a year.

Finding someone willing to pay that could be a different kettle of fish, though, which should help to ensure the now Brazil international is running down the wings at Goodison Park next term.

His ability to run down the wings and play as striker, while forging a role in the Selecao under Tite, however, are considered to be just a few of the many reasons why some of Europe’s top clubs are anticipated to try and tempt him into leaving us.

At present, Richarlison is our joint-top goal ‘scorer in the Premier League with twelve, and already has three on the international stage despite making his Brazil debut in September.
