Everton suffered a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, but Richarlison came away with a lot of praise from supporters after an impressive performance at Goodison Park. The Toffees suffered their third consecutive defeat over the weekend, but Richarlison didn’t let the side down.
As per WhoScored, the 22-year-old played a full 90 minutes, made 44 touches, won one aerial duel, completed 70% of his 20 passes, had two shots with 50% accuracy, whipped in two crosses, made six tackles, drew four fouls and made one successful dribble.
richarlison was terrific i though but michael keane was poor. Poor for first goal and diving in miles away from his box for their third. Need to replace him either in january or next summer

A much better performance today from #Everton. City deserved the win but 2-1 would’ve been a fairer result. Yet again we created plenty of chances but didn’t take them – it’s continually costing us games. Delph, Coleman, Richarlison & DCL’s target play excellent. #EFC #UTFT #COYB

Richarlison and Coleman good today Digne struggled without Bernard in front of him. Iwobi should be rotating with Sigurddsson

Richarlison has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating four goals. The Brazilian international has been a regular for Everton under Marco Silva, but he’s failed to score against seven of his nine opponents.
Nevertheless, Richarlison has created six chances, made nine successful dribbles (47%), whipped in 18 crosses, has won 14 aerial duels (47%) and has averaged a tackle (25) or interception (4) every 20 minutes. Unfortunately, his efforts haven’t helped Everton.
The Toffees are currently 15th in the Premier League with seven points from as many games, having lost four of their last five. Everton next face Burnley (away) on October 5.
