With Everton’s capture of incredibly highly rated former Juventus striker Moise Kean at the weekend for a reported total fee of £27.5million when add-ons are factored in, plenty of fans were delighted with the ambition shown in the deal for the Italian international.
With eight goals in 21 games for Serie A serial champions Juventus, and two goals in three Italian matches, his addition up top was exactly what plenty of fans were hoping for as we look to carry a greater goal threat in the coming 2019/20 Premier League campaign. It wasn’t our only capture at the weekend either as Mainz midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin also came through the Goodison Park doors on a similar five year deal for £25million.
On Monday, Everton’s social media team took to Twitter to post up a short video of Director of Football Marcel Brands welcoming Kean to the club and it wasn’t just Everton fans that were seriously impressed with his touch, even Liverpool fans reacted positively to his classy actions.
Lovely touch.

Love the fact that even though the club is trying to move forward and be more competitive, we’re still a family club with the right values #peoplesclub
