Everton held Chelsea to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, extending their recent record to just one defeat in the last six Premier League matches.
The Toffees have historically struggled in their travels to West London and the fact that Maurizio Sarri’s side remain unbeaten in the league this season left the odds stacked against Marco Silva’s side.
However, a solid defensive display secured a positive result for an Everton side still finding it’s rhythm under the guidance of Silva and fans flocked to social media to heap praise on the team’s performance.
One of the players who attracted plaudits for an impressive individual display was Michael Keane, who continued to catch the eye for his defensive performance – showing why he earned a recall to Gareth Southgate’s England side for the upcoming international matches.
Partnered at the heart of the defence with summer signing Yerry Mina, who earned his full debut for Everton, the pair were a force to be reckoned with. We have gathered some of the best reactions to Keane’s display below.

I reckon Michael Keane has been that good this season that we recall Martina & Williams and play them next to him and we will still be ace
