One thing that Everton have confirmed today was two new contracts for youngster Kieran Dowell and Callum Connolly.
The Academy graduates have both signed new three-year deals at the club keeping the 20-year-old’s at Goodison Park until the summer of 2021.
Dowell impressed last season during a loan spell out with Nottingham Forest where he scored ten times in 43 matches and Connolly took in 36 matches for Ipswich Town, scoring four times. Both were also part of the England Under 21 squad that lifted the Toulon Tournament over the summer, 12 months after playing their part in the Under 20 World Cup win.
Having penned his new deal, Connolly now immediately heads out to Wigan Athletic on a loan spell for the remainder of the campaign as he continues his development at Championship level in 2018/19 and with Dowell not heading out, chances improve that he is in Marco Silva’s plans for the coming campaign following his pre-season involvement.
One or two more to go

It’s fair to say some weren’t happy with the announcement as they felt it would be another incoming, but you can’t have everything eh.
