Silva Potentially Without Three Everton Players For Palace Clash

|

The big kickoff to the 2019/20 Premier League campaign is almost upon us and Everton fans already know we make the trip to Selhurst Park this Saturday to open up the year against Crystal Palace.

With relatively slow progress in the summer transfer market, that certainly sparked to life with the arrivals of Fabian Delph earlier in the summer, and in recent days we’ve seen big money moves for Moise Kean and Jean-Philippe Gbamin and fans will naturally be hoping we have some deadline day business to further bolster the first team group.

With preparations continuing for Palace though, Physioroom.com’s injury table lists three problems for manager Marco Silva as he looks towards his first proper selection of the new campaign.

They list Leighton Baines and Fabian Delph as being only 25% fit and although Gbamin is rated at 50%, Silva is already on record as effectively being ruled out for the opener as we give him time to play catch up after the summer.

Many would say the squad picks itself in the eventuality those three don’t play a part in the tie.
