Marco Silva has been singing the praises of Tom Davies and Jonjoe Kenny to the official Everton website, and fans have been quick to reply.
Davies has been an off-on sensation since his graduation from the academy, but has been in terrific form of late, providing he’s playing in a more advanced position.
As for Kenny, the right-back has shown he can cut it on occasion in place of Seamus Coleman, but often lacks when going forward in the way his Irish counterpart cemented his importance at Goodison Park.
For Silva, however, both have been worthy of praise, and in Davies’ case the captain’s armband in his previous two games.
The Portuguese manager also told the official Everton website: “We are talking about players who are 20 and 21-years-old and they have to show me not just their quality, but also their desire to play, that ambition to play every game.
“Tom is always this type of player. They [Davies and Kenny] are players who love the Club.
“The main thing for them is to play in the blue shirt and to always play well and help the team win.”
While some members of the Goodison Park faithful agreed, the under-pressure boss’s comments did not find a home with everyone…
Both must play every minute of every game we have left now.

Tom Davies is the future of Everton whether people like it or not. He loves the club and has the makings of a good leader which we need.
Kenny is still rough around the edges but is getting better with every apperence.

The future starts now for me Kenny and Davies should be in the team over under performing players brands and silva plan should be to bring u23s and new signing’s in to form a new squad and get shut of these high earners who give very little contribution over a full season
