Lots of Everton fans have been reacting on social media, after Sandro Ramirez shone for loan side Real Valladolid against CD Tenerife in the Copa del Ray.

Sandro joined Pucela for the 2019/20 campaign after a torrid time with Real Sociedad last season, where he failed to score in 26 games and only started ten of his 24 La Liga outings.

Life at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla has not been much more fruitful for the 24-year-old in front of the net, though Sandro finally brought an end to his lengthy drought back in November when he scored against RCD Mallorca.

The former Spain U21 international had gone 710 days between goals, having last found the back of the net during our Europa League Group E defeat at home to Atalanta in November 2017.

Goals have not come along like buses for Sandro since, but he has not had to wait another two years to strike home, having opened the scoring for Valladolid against Tenerife on Wednesday night.

Will Sandro be at Goodison Park next season?

Yes, he'll be back

No, he'll be sold

No, he'll be sold

No, but out on loan

Sandro was one of Pucela’s best-performing players of the evening though they went on to lose 2-1, with the FC Barcelona academy graduate taking 58 touches, making 32 accurate passes (86%), playing one key ball, four accurate long balls (100%) and directing three of his five shots on target, per Sofa Score data.

He also won three of eight ground duels, one of two aerial duels, was fouled twice and made one successful dribble, but also lost possession 15 times, committed two fouls and in typical Sandro fashion, missed one big chance to score.

Sandro still has a year to run on his £65,000-per-week contract at Goodison Park, penned upon his arrival in 2017 at a sum of £5.2million.

Here are some of the messages shared as fans reacted to Sandro scoring for Valladolid in the Copa del Ray…

In other Everton news, the club have been named in a three-way battle for a £20m, 21-goal forward.
