Everton’s Wayne Rooney has won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for November.

His 59 yard strike against West Ham United won out with the most votes in the monthly competition and it capped his hattrick on November 29th perfectly as we took a four nil success.

Leading two nil at the point, Rooney collected Hart’s clearance from inside his own box and hit a first time lob towards the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street End.

Speaking to the Official Site Rooney said of his strike.

‘It`s one of – if not the best – goals I’ve ever scored. I think I hit it as well as I’ve ever kicked a football!’

Teammate Gylfi Sigurdsson was also on the shortlist for is 20 yard finish against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.

The remainder of the list contained Rajiv van La Parra (Huddersfield), Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Ashley Young (Manchester United), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester City).
