Some Everton fans have been reacting on social media after Carlo Ancelotti lauded Richarlison as a “complete striker” following the Brazilian’s performance against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Richarlison featured alongside striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as we beat the Seagulls at Goodison Park, while scoring the sole goal of the game for his tenth of the season in all competitions.

No Toffees player has found the back of the net on more occasions than Richarlison now, after he drew level with Calvert-Lewin, though the former England U21 international holds a better minutes-per-goal record.

But it is not only Richarlison’s goals that appeal to Ancelotti, after he praised the 19-cap Brazilian while speaking to EvertonTV.

“Richarlison was a fantastic talent before me [arriving] and will be a fantastic talent after me,” the boss said.

“He has skills and ability… power and strength and speed. He is really the complete striker

“Him and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are a really good combination. And, we have to wait for him to adapt, but Moise Kean is another fantastic striker.”
