Reporter reveals finer details as Everton reach player agreement

Everton will hopefully be looking to really add to their squad in the summer transfer window as Carlo Ancelotti looks to build a side capable of regularly challenging for Europe and the top spots over the coming years.

It could be an exciting new era at the club with the Italian in charge and the new ground on the way, but the players still need to be good enough for all those things to benefit the club.

Indeed, that will surely mean the manager is going to try his level best to sign some top players and it looks as though one deal has already been reached with a target.

Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille looks set to join and journalist Nicolo Schira has revealed some of the finer details, such as the contract length:

Now, the plan for the Blues needs to be reaching a deal with the Ligue 1 side but with the player seemingly ready to come to Merseyside, that shouldn’t be too arduous a task.

Obviously, the clubs need to agree on a fee and Lille will want good value for one of the better young players around at the moment, but the Blues also can’t be held to ransom.

The player himself is ready to come, though, and that should prove a bargaining chip as the Blues look to seal this deal.
