As per the Watford Observer, Abdoulaye Doucoure could consider his options again in a year from now which may be of interest to the Blues.
The midfielder was excellent last season with a number of goals from midfield and it remains to be seen if he can repeat the feat this year.
Indeed, he signed an extension this summer but is still apparently open to considering his options with the Blues linked with him in the summer by teamTALK.
A Watford player, he obviously knows Marco Silva well and excelled under the Portuguese’s guidance – similarly to Richarlison who we’re already seeing was worth the outlay.
For sure, he’d be a physical, energetic presence in our midfield if he signed but things can change in a year and so it remains to be seen if we are even keen when this season has only just got under way.
One to watch regardless, though.
