Report: Kevin Mirallas transfer update

|

Kevin Mirallas could be on his way out of Everton before the overseas transfer window shuts on September 2. The 31-year-old has been made available for sale by Marco Silva this summer and reportedly has two suitors from Belgium. According to Sudinfo, Royal Antwerp and Club Brugge are interested in Mirallas and could make a move for the winger in the coming days.

As per Transfermarkt, the Belgian international has made 186 appearances in all competitions, scoring and creating 72 goals. His last competitive outing in an Everton shirt came against Southampton (Premier League) on November 26, 2017 and he’s since been loaned out to Olympiacos (January 8, 2018 – June 30, 2018) and Fiorentina (August 4, 2018 – June 30, 2019).

Mirallas struggled for form with the Violas (30 games, two goals, three assists) which may be there haven’t been many suitors this summer. The Everton winger has been linked with a return to Belgium but appears to have zero interest from clubs outside of the country. Marcel Brands wants to trim the wage bill and could shave off £3.6m-a-year through the 31-year-old’s sale.

Whether Antwerp or Brugge make a move for Mirallas remains to be seen, however.
