Report goes against the grain to suggest attacker will remain at Everton

|

Despite reports linking him, almost continuously, with a move away from Everton at the moment, the Liverpool Echo is adamant that Moise Kean’s future lies at Goodison Park right now.

Ever since coming in from Serie A last summer, the young attacker has had plenty of buzz and discussion surrounding him when, really, all he’ll want to be doing is focusing on playing football and learning under a great manager in Carlo Ancelotti.

Some have questioned Kean’s attitude while Marco Silva omitted him from the travelling squad to face Southampton in November for breaching club rules, plus he is also behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order right now. Both young forwards seem to have bright futures, though, as they can push each other and get the best out of each other on the field.

Indeed, the Echo reckons that, despite all the speculation swirling around his head, the Blues want to keep Kean for the long term because, at the end of the day, they see something in the Italian that suggests he is good enough to make it at this level.

You cannot forget how impressive it seemed that the Blues managed to bring him in not so long ago and just because he’s not come in straight away and scored 20 goals does not mean he is a flop.

He’s a young kid getting to grips with a new country and recent signs have suggested that there’s real hope for him yet.

It sounds like he’s going to get time and space to grow at Goodison Park, too, and that could really pay off for the Blues in the coming seasons.
