Report: Everton make decision on £15.75m-rated wide-man

|

According to the Express, Everton have opted against signing Ryan Fraser this summer and may turn their attentions elsewhere. The 26-year-old is on his way out of Bournemouth as his contract expires at the end of June, but there will be stiff competition for his signature.

The Express say Watford, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur have shown an interest in signing Fraser, but it remains to be seen where the Scottish international will end up next season.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Fraser joined Bournemouth from Aberdeen in 2013 and has gone on to make 208 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 24 goals and making 33 assists. The 26-year-old will be a free transfer in less than a week, but he has a market value of £15.75m and was one of the best wide-men last year – seven goals and 14 assists in 2018/19.

With Theo Walcott and Bernard being linked with a move away from Everton, Carlo Ancelotti has eyed Cengiz Under, Wilfried Zaha, Memphis Depay, Jose Callejon, Rafa Silva, Jack Grealish, Everton Cebolinha Soares, Philippe Coutinho and Jesse Lingard as potential replacements.

It’s known which player they’ll end up signing, but it definitely won’t be Fraser.
