Report: Everton are ‘real suitors’ for €25m-rated man, club ‘able to sell’ 24 y/o

According to Corriere dello Sport, Everton are ‘real suitors’ for Patrik Schick and may have to battle Newcastle United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, RB Leipzig and Fiorentina to procure his signature. Corriere dello Sport say AS Roma are ‘able to sell’ the 24-year-old for €25m this summer, but it remains to be seen where he’ll end up.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Schick initially joined Roma on loan from Sampdoria in 2017 and turned the move permanent in 2018. He’s gone on to make 58 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and making three assists – a paltry tally for a player that cost £37.8m.

The Czech Republic international struggled for form at Roma and was loaned out to Leipzig last summer as a result. Schick has since scored 10 goals and made three assists in 26 games for the German outfit, but Corriere dello Sport say a permanent move to the Red Bull Arena is unlikely.

This is good news for Everton, who have also been linked with Hee-chan Hwang, Hirving Lozano, Martin Braithwaite, Odsonne Edouard, Andrea Belotti, Sardar Azmoun and Victor Osimhen, but the Toffees have a fight on their hands to bring Schick to England.
