Report: Everton ‘advance’ on £25.2m-rated man, 24 y/o ‘considers transfer’ to Premier League

According to Arena Napoli, Everton are looking to ‘advance’ on Everton Soares this summer. The 24-year-old ‘seriously considers a transfer to the Premier League’ too, so Carlo Ancelotti might have luck bringing him to Goodison Park. Soares has impressed in Brazil over the last two years, so he would improve the first-team squad.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Ancelotti has Theo Walcott, Bernard, Alex Iwobi and Richarlison who can operate out wide, but Walcott could be sold due to poor form, Bernard was previously offered to AS Roma, Iwobi is struggling for consistency and Richarlison plays up front now, so Everton could benefit from bringing in a new face.

The Toffees have been linked with Cengiz Under, Wilfried Zaha, Memphis Depay, Jose Callejon, Rafa Silva, Jack Grealish, Everton Cebolinha Soares, Philippe Coutinho and Jesse Lingard, but Soares has been on their radar for some time. He’s scored 47 goals and made 17 assists in 179 games for Gremio, hitting double figures for league goals in 2018 and 2019.

With Soares open to a Premier League move and Everton needing another forward in their first-team, a move would benefit both parties. His market value is £25.2m, but Gremio may require more money before they consider parting company.
