According to Aksam (h/t Sport Witness), Fenerbahce are interested in Cenk Tosun and want to sign the Everton striker on loan next season. Tosun has struggled for form and playing time at Goodison Park and is expected to be moved on this summer.

Fenerbahce president Ali Koc is looking to capitalise on the situation and wants to use his friendship with chairman Bill Kenwright as a way to procure Tosun’s signature. The Turkish Super Lig outfit won’t be complying with FFP if they sign Tosun on a permanent deal, so a temporary move is all they can offer.

The 27-year-old has made a total of 40 appearances in all competitions since joining Everton from Besiktas in January 2018, scoring and creating 11 goals. The Toffees paid £27m for Tosun and his form has fallen apart in his first full season at the club.

He’s netted only two goals and made three assists in 22 Premier League games this season. Tosun has created only nine chances, made two successful dribbles (25%), averaged a shot on target every 67 minutes, made just 10 passes-per-game with 70% accuracy and lost 60% of his aerial duels.

Besiktas have also been linked with a move for Tosun, but his next destination is unknown.
