Report: Agent says Everton have ‘no intention of selling’ £53k-per-week man in January

|

Moise Kean has been linked with a move away from Everton after struggling for form and playing time at Goodison Park. The 19-year-old has racked up less than 600 minutes of football across 18 appearances and has yet to ripple the back of the net.

His slow start to life on Merseyside has led to talk of a return to Serie A in January, but agent Mina Raiola insists Everton have no desire to sell the Italian international. He told La Repubblica (h/t Sport Witness): “I have a stack of requests for him on my desk, but Everton has no intention of selling him.”

Can Ancelotti bring out the best of Moise Kean?

Yes

No

Kean has found himself behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Cenk Tosun at times this season, but Carlo Ancelotti could give him more opportunities to help him settle in England. The new Everton manager started Kean in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United and has been public in his praise for the striker.

It’s worth noting that the £53k-per-week striker has four years remaining on his deal on Merseyside, so should be given the time to develop. Kean scored eight goals in 21 appearances at Juventus and doesn’t turn 20 for another two months. He’s still a hot prospect with years of development ahead of him.
