According to Le10 Sports, Odsonne Edouard is ‘in the sights’ of Everton. The Toffees are on the hunt for a new striker and could battle Olympique Lyonnais, RB Leipzig, LOSC Lille, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal to procure the 22-year-old’s signature.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

There could be an exodus of centre-forwards at Everton this summer, with Oumar Niasse out of contract and expected to be released, Sandro Ramirez being linked with a return to Spain, Moise Kean being linked with a return to Italy and Cenk Tosun available for sale after falling down the pecking order.

In addition to Edouard, Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with Torino’s Andrea Belotti, Napoli’s Hirving Lozano and Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis, but it remains to be seen which player is headed for Goodison Park.

Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored and created a total of 32 goals between them this season, but the Toffees will be short in attack if injury struck. Edouard would be a fantastic addition to the squad, having scored 60 goals and made 31 assists in 126 games for Celtic since his move from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 22-year-old was in outstanding form before the season was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, scoring 27 goals and making 19 assists in 45 games, so Everton should do everything in their power to bring him to Goodison Park. Le10 Sport say it may take a bid of €30m-€40m.
