As quoted by talkSPORT, Harry Redknapp has said that the Blues could lose to West Ham next time out in a rather bold claim.
The former Hammers manager is often good for a quote or two and, at the same time, he’s usually good for saying something that seems completely out there and for effect.
With that in mind, then, he’s had this to say about our game next weekend:
“They need to pick up some results quickly, and I think they’ve got a chance at Everton.
“I saw Everton the other week at Bournemouth and I couldn’t say I was that impressed, and they were poor last week at home to Huddersfield, where they were fortunate to get a draw.
“So it’s a chance for West Ham.”
Clearly, Redknapp doesn’t rate us much but I would imagine he’s said something along these lines to try and get people to listen to him.
The Hammers have been shocking this season whilst we have been unbeaten and I don’t see them getting anywhere near us next weekend.
We could have had all twelve points at this stage and so I think once again we’ll see why Redknapp is now a pundit and no longer a football manager when the two sides meet.
