Many of us are waiting to see what Everton are going to do off of the pitch in the coming weeks with Alisher Usmanov set to be a man with some extra free time.
The Russian is being ousted at Arsenal by Stan Kroenke and many of us are now wondering just whether he is going to get involved with our club and to what extent.
Certainly, it would be very nice to have his financial clout on board sooner rather than later, and it looks as though there is scope for that.
Indeed, speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the guys at the Everton Business Matters podcast discussed the potential role the Russian could have at Goodison.
They said:
“It’s probably not too much of a stretch to imagine Moshiri and Usmanov rekindling their football partnership.”
Certainly, this would be potentially very exciting if he was given a big role at the club because he obviously has a great amount of money.
If he can dovetail with Farhad, we could be really laughing.
