Player eyeing Everton stay

Speaking to American outlet US Soccer, Everton’s on-loan defender Antonee Robinson has been talking about his future at the club.

The young defender is just one of many promising players on the books at Goodison Park and Marco Silva and co. are going to start having to make some tough decisions involving their futures.

Indeed, with Robinson on loan again this season it is hard to say exactly for sure where he might end up in the coming campaigns but it appears he is confident that he can make it at the club – thanks to the contract he signed last summer.

He said:

“Even though at the minute they feel I might not be quite ready for the Premier League with the team they have, they do feel I’ve got a future with them. They just want me to get loaned out and get that experience.”

A young player, he still has room to grow under Silva and there is no reason why he might not but will he be given the time? That is the real question.

With the money we have now, the Blues can buy replacements that are ready and Robinson is going to have some real competition once his current loan ends to prove himself.

Yes, he signed a new deal, but you wonder whether that means much in this current climate.
