Everton reminded us what they could do on Sunday afternoon with a good win over Chelsea in the Premier League.
The Blues have been really up and down this season and after what happened last time out in the division we really needed to bounce back.
We started slowly, though, and for much of the first-half it was all Chelsea – though they didn’t actually threaten too much.
Clearly, in the second half an improved performance from us could see us take the win and, duly, that is what happened.
There was more urgency, more bite and more threat and, though it wasn’t perfect, it was much more close to what we expect from an Everton team.
Plenty to build on, then, going into the final games of the campaign but with us taking on Wolves and Watford for the Europa League spot, it was a big win.
Let’s look at the reaction to the result on Twitter…

Everton have beaten an established top-six side for the first time since January 2017, ending a 25-game winless run.#EVECHE #EFC pic.twitter.com/HafdLXkh07
