The international break can often be seen as a chance for players to show to their club managers they have a chance for more first-team minutes, but Moise Kean has not done himself any favours.

The Everton summer signing was sent off for Italy in their U-21 clash against Ireland when the 19-year-old striker clashed with Tottenham youngster Troy Parrott, resulting in both attackers being dismissed just 64 minutes into the game for shoving each other as reported by The Liverpool Echo.
It was a rash decision from Kean, yet plenty of Everton fans on social media felt the former Juventus star was harshly sent off, and supporters took to social media to not only complain at the referee, but also the state of football these days with players seemingly being shown red cards for easy challenges and altercations.
Here’s what some Everton fans had to say on Twitter about Kean’s seemingly harsh sending off…
Dumb thing to do but a pathetic reaction from the player pushed, starts to touch his body and then thinks I better grab my face and fall over to help convince the ref.

None or both for me.

That’s not a red card offence under the laws of the game

Very harsh red card for Kean that. Oh well get him back to Finch Farm and get him ready for West Ham, no doubt playing up top on his own in a 4-2-3-1 or sitting on bench till 68th minute then come on for DCL.

The decision has not gone down well with Everton supporters…
Ridiculous, modern football is a joke i hate it, nothing in that just tell the pair of them to get on with the game job done. Only watch efc now nothing else and i wish i could rid myself of that but as we all know that isn’t possible!

MicroBalotelli…

Seriously? That’s shocking, tell them to move on. No big deal

Neither should have been sent off

The sending off now means Kean will return to Everton early, where Marco Silva will likely be questioning the teenager for his actions on the pitch for Italy.
