“Owes Everton…He Will Not Leave” – Agent Gives Emphatic Response To Transfer Speculation

There’s no point denying that it hasn’t been a great first year for Colombian international centre-half Yerry Mina at Everton.

The 24-year-old saw his deal from Barcelona over the summer become a somewhat protracted affair, but we ultimately snared his services for a fee of around £27.2million.

With injuries holding his arrival back, he didn’t actually debut until November and he then only made 12 starts in total, with two more showings from the bench and as per the Liverpool Echo there has been some unsourced speculation that his time at Goodison Park could already be up, and there have been tentative links with Fenerbache out in Turkey.

His agent has clarified things somewhat and poured cold water on suggestions that Mina, or manager Marco Silva are looking to part ways and speaking to outlet aSPOR, his agent gave quite an emphatic response when it came to the Turkish suggestions.

“Yerry will certainly not leave Everton. This type of transfer news is purely gossip. Mina owes Everton and has to prove himself. He will not leave Everton.”
