It did not take long for Lucas Digne to worm his way into the hearts of many around Goodison Park, and now the French ace has fans reacting on Reddit after one user shared that the Barcelona outcast has achieved something incredible.

That accomplishment is to simultaneously be featured in WhoScored’s Team of the Week, Month, and Season, in what has been a superb debut campaign in England.

It was Digne’s efforts in our comfortable win at the London Stadium that earned him his place in the Team of the Week with an 8.5 rating – only Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva (8.7) and Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi (9.1) earned a higher score.

The 25-year-old also averaged a 7.8 rating for March – the fourth best in the side – and is currently on a 7.3 for the season – albeit, the joint second worst in the XI.

Digne’s place means he has been, statically, the best left-back in the Premier League this term, with WhoScored only offering places to those who have played in the certain positions – i.e. pitting our man against Liverpool’s Andy Robertson.

Robertson, for those of you interested, is currently on a 7.1 for the season, averaged a 7.0 during March, and earned a 7.3 in the Reds’ 2-1 home win over Tottenham on Sunday.

When Digne’s feat was later shared on Reddit, this is what some Toffees supporters made of it…
