Everton could be without Theo Walcott against Leicester City as the 30-year-old is a “big doubt” to be fit in time for Sunday’s Premier League clash. Walcott has been a regular in the starting lineup of late so his absence would be damaging for Everton.

The England international has made 13 appearances in all competitions, scoring and creating two goals, and had started Everton’s last five Premier League games before picking up an injury. Bernard or Alex Iwobi could deputise for Walcott if he fails to pass a late fitness test. Moise Kean has been used as a makeshift winger this season too.

Walcott was on the periphery at the start of the campaign, racking up 74 minutes of league football in August and September, but he’s amassed 366 minutes from a possible 450 in the last two months. There’s a slim chance he could feature over the weekend, but Silva isn’t optimistic.

Everton are 16th in the table with 14 points from 13 games, having failed to win three of their last four. The Toffees travel to face a Leicester side sitting second in the league coming off the back of five consecutive wins.
