With less than a month remaining in the transfer window, it’s widely anticipated that Everton’s transfer business will become more apparent over the course of future. And, while we’re all expecting new arrivals, many will depart too, such as Mo Besic.

As the Liverpool Echo reports, Middlesbrough’s pursuit of Besic has been complicated by the arrival of Paddy McNair, which could leave the Bosnian in a problematic situation. That said, Boro are still interested in his services and leaving Goodison Park is still a plausible option for the midfielder.

Here’s how Everton supporters have reacted to the rumours on Twitter.

Verdict:

At the age of 25, Besic can no longer be considered as a promising midfielder, and while he still possesses the capabilities to make a meaningful contribution for us, I believe his future lies elsewhere.

His time at Middlesbrough illustrated the best of his abilities, where he’s able to fortify a team’s midfield. Having failed to establish himself as a mainstay in our team, the Bosnian should seek pastures new.
