Everton confirmed Ademola Lookman’s departure on Thursday morning, and some supporters are happy to see him leave. The 21-year-old struggled for form and playing time with the Toffees since his move from Charlton Athletic in 2017 and spent the last six months of the season out on loan as a result. He scored only four goals in 48 appearances and was only handed 14 starts (29%).
Some fans believe it was the right move to sell Lookman for £22.5m as he failed to impress when handed the chance. He scored just one Premier League goal in 36 games but seemed to fare much better in Germany. Lookman shone on loan at RB Leipzig last season (11 appearances, five goals, four assists) but never managed to replicate that output in England.
Not going to be missed. A goal against Man City the only bit of good we saw from him. Will only be remembered for putting in zero effort and sulking. Auf Wiedersehen, Ademola ????

Had potential with his ability but seemed to lack discipline and understanding on a football pitch means he cant be trusted over 90 mins. Can get away with it as a sub but looks lost when he starts.

Shame, could of been a special player…terrible attitude it seems! Nothing like playing in the premier league! Enjoy the Bundesliga ????

Might be a reason manager after manager didnt use him, surely all x4 managers cant be wrong….sometimes a player just doesnt fit a club mate and unfortunatly lookman is 1 of them.

Leipzig have wanted to sign Lookman for 12 months and have finally got their man. Supporters are happy to see the back of him at Goodison Park and called his attitude into question on social media too. The England u21 international is believed to have struggled with his discipline over the last two years which may have soured his relationship with Marco Silva.
Given the accusations of poor behaviour at Everton and his woeful scoring record, it’s easy to see why fans care little about Lookman leaving.
