Manager Marco Silva’s Everton squad face a tough trip to Old Trafford and Jose Moaninho’s Manchester United this Sunday for a 4pm kickoff.

Everton go into the game in eighth place in the top tier table with 15 points from our opening nine games. We are also on the back of a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace in our last Premier League match, whilst Mourinho’s continuing struggles are clear for all to see with his side sat tenth spot and one point behind us.

We edge current form with three wins on the spin compared to their four points from the last nine, but nobody will be expecting an easy tie.

Everton’s current state of play on an injury front according to physioroom.com sees only Beni Baningime and James McCarthy ruled out for the match, but in what is potentially good news for Silva, United themselves will supposedly see a number of players ruled out of contention.

The potential for Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia and Marouane Fellaini to not be involved in this one should certainly be considered a boost to our chances.
