Everton fans have been discussing on social media who Marco Silva could call on against Crystal Palace, with Richarlison and Theo Walcott both doubts for the game.
The boss is yet to make a decision one way or the other on whether to include our Brazilian winger against Palace or not, as Richarlison has made it evident to him that he is pain free following the blow to his rubs sustained against Manchester United.
Silva, however, suggested during his media duties in the week that Richarlison was still showing signs of being injured, and the final call will be made by our medical team before the squad heads to London.
Walcott had taken the reigns from Richarlison in our win over the Red Devils, but his involvement at Selhurst Park is being questioned, as he was taken ill on Thursday.
With Ademola Lookman seemingly fazed out of the first-team recently, who, then, that could step into the starting XI in South London has proved to be a topic of discussion online.
Some fans would like Lookman to earn what would be only his fourth start in the Premier League under Silva, with the last of his three coming in January when we lost to Southampton.
Other supporters have suggested offering youth a chance to see how they can cope in the senior squad, with shouts for U18 ace Anthony Gordon and U23s prospect Josh Bowler.
Gordon has not been enjoying the most productive campaign in the Premier League 2, with one goal and one assist to his name, while Bowler only narrowly edges his younger teammate with three goals.
Here’s a round-up of some of the thoughts posted on Twitter…
The way Silva talks suggests there’s an attitude problem with Lookman. I’d have a look at Josh Bowler.

If Lookman isn’t our 3rd choice right mid then what was the point in keeping him? Give him a chance to step up, if not ‘Auf wiedersehen’

Get young Tom The Grafter in – Palace will be tough down there and what he lacks in creativity, he makes up for in workrate.
