Oumar Niasse has at least been issued a squad number this season but the Everton forward doesn’t have a future at Goodison Park.

However, according to the Watford Observer he could have one in the Premier League?

Interest from Watford, under the guidance of Marco Silva, his boss at Hull during a loan last season, in Niasse is ‘paper talk’ according to the Watford Observer, adding ‘sources close to the player have revealed the Senegal forward is likely to sign for Premier League new-boys Brighton.’

Watford, Brighton, it doesn’t really matter does it? Niasse, if he wants to play first team football, has to leave Goodison and the Blues should soon see this become the case.

Meanwhile, whatever is going to happen with Gylfi Sigurdsson, it would be expected this will happen sooner rather than later.

Swansea boss Paul Clement has told Sky Sports ‘talks are ongoing between our club and another club, in particular’ but no decision was made on his future as yet, so he could stay at the Liberty Stadium.

However, it was a certainty this wouldn’t go down to the wire.

Clement said: ‘This won’t go until the end of the window, we won’t allow that to happen. Business needs to be done, otherwise the player needs to stay here. We are not going to get into a situation where the player potentially goes, we have funds available, but there’s no time to do any deals. We end up weaker and there’s no way that’s going to happen.’
