In January Everton signed Shani Tarashaj from Grasshoppers Zurich.
But Evertonians are yet to see their new 21-year-old striker as he immediately returned to the Swiss side on loan for the remainder of the season.
Tarashaj aimed to help the Zurich based side qualify for the UEFA Champions League for next season and so far he has scored 11 goals in 27 appearances this season.
Over the past week however he has had one eye on next season as he travelled over to England to train with the Everton squad at Finch Farm.
‘It was very good and I was happy to be over, It was nice to train here and be around the team. That was fantastic for me and I enjoyed the opportunity. he told evertonfc.com.
‘I spoke with all the players and they were very good with me, so I am really happy. I spoke a lot with Muhamed Besic because he speaks German but also with the rest of the players, too.
‘I’m happy that I have signed here and I can play here from the summer. I’m ready for Everton, I’m ready to train to play here. I’ve been watching every game and I’m looking forward to seeing what the Premier League is all about. It will be fantastic to play here.’
