Phil Neville could be set to make his 300th Everton appearance against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

For sentimental reasons it would be a nice touch for David Moyes to give Neville the opportunity of passing that landmark against the club where he made 389 appearances.

At 36-years-old is in his last year of his contract at Goodison Park and it isn’t clear if he will sign a new contract at the club.

David Moyes has already pretty much stated that he would happily offer him an extension, but Neville has told the club that he will not discuss his plans until March.

Neville holds plans to move into coaching and has already been involved in the England Under-21s set-up for the game against Belgium last year.

He also intends to complete his UEFA A licence in the summer.
