With yesterday’s news that Dutch midfielder Davy Klaassen had moved on to pastures new and completed a move out to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, Everton fans were certainly mixed in their responses to the transfer.
⏩ | Good luck to @DavyKlaassen as he joins @werderbremen_en.
Al the best in 🇩🇪, Davy.

The statement on Everton’s Official Site left a lot to the imagination – not least whether or not it was a loan move or a permanent move.
The 25-year-old has headed to the club on a permanent basis though, with the transfer fee officially undisclosed from Everton’s point of view. Having come in this time last summer to much fanfare having skippered Ajax to the Europa League final and having 16 caps for his country, he leaves having only made 16 appearances.
Fans have long been torn when it came to Klaassen, there are those who feel he never showed his true worth when he was given a chance and there are those who feel he was never given a true chance to show his worth.
Four different managers haven’t fancied him. Never showed anything in the games he played. As much as I was rooting for him he clearly wasn’t cut out for it.
