Everton have been in fine form under the guidance of Marco Silva and, after a relatively slow start, have found their rhythm by boasting a sequence of just one defeat in seven matches.
Silva has earned plenty of credit for his transfer business during the summer, with the likes of Bernard, Richarlison, Andre Gomes and Lucas Digne proving their worth, but there is still room for academy graduates to make an impression.
One of the biggest talents Everton fans are talking about right now is Ellis Sims, who has been tearing things up with the U18 side this season and looks ready to make the jump to the U23 team – before potentially pushing into the first-team frame.
After netting another brace in a 4-0 win over Sunderland, where Kieran Phillips also put his name on the scoresheet twice, Everton fans took the opportunity to increase the hype surrounding the young talent.

Move him up to the under 23 team plus let him train with the senior team for a week to show the lad the level he needs to be at to get first team football few of the senior players might see this lad as a threat and up their game

There are certainly some very talented under 18’s. Ellis Simms appears to be a skilful goal scorer and I wonder whether he will be given a chance in the first team squad just like Wayne Rooney. Physically strong and a goal scorer.
