Earlier this week, the Mirror suggested that we were taking a look at Divock Origi with the striker struggling for game time at Liverpool.
A player of power and pace, he is inconsistent at best and that is why he is nowhere near the Reds’ attacking line.
However, you can see the potential he has and, whisper it quietly, but there are shades of a young Romelu Lukaku about him with his playing style.
That, of course, means very little as it could prove he gets nowhere near Lukaku’s level but, unless he is playing somewhere, how are we to know?
And, when you look at our need for a striker and Marco Silva’s record of working with young players, you do start to see why, potentially, this one would work.
