The Blues get back to Premier League action this weekend, of course, as we take on Huddersfield at Goodison.
It’s been a good start to the season this year and it’s clear that we have got a strong side.
Indeed, really we should be looking at nine points from nine and I would expect us to beat the Terriers this weekend.
We do, however, seem set to be missing a few players this weekend thanks to injury and suspension.
Via the club update, it looks as though up to five could be out of action.
Idrissa Gueye, Ademola Lookman and Andre Gomes are all carrying knocks whilst Bernard is touch and go for the weekend.
Meanwhile, Phil Jagielka is out for a few weeks with a knee issue.
It remains to be seen how we set up, then, with Michael Keane also out, of course, and that is where Silva will need to earn his keep.
