According to Calciomercato, Everton are interested in trying to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon in the summer window.

The Blues have had a decent enough season so far and it is clear that we have a decent squad that can be built on.

We do, though, need that extra bit of attacking emphasis going forwards and it is clear that Farhad Moshiri is eager to underline his ambition for the club – according to the Italian outlet.

Fekir is an excellent attacking midfielder that can get on the ball and drive at defences before getting shots away.

We don’t really have any players like that that can do that centrally, and probably haven’t since Ross Barkley left the club for Chelsea.

Fekir is rated at £63m by transfermarkt, so the suggestion is that he is not going to come cheap but, at the end of the day, we have the money and now it’s time to use it.

  • What rubbish reports, Barkley scored only 7 or 8 goals a season, and you don’t mention Rooney ? Everton need a reliable striker to score goals, end of story. COYB. NSNO

  • What team have you been watching because it certainly wasn’t Everton, we were pondering in the lower half of the league until we played the redsh*te back in early March that’s when we started to turn things around in my opinion because before that game we were very poor. NSNO COYB ETID NSNO
