Everton suffered a heartbreaking defeat against arch-rivals Liverpool on Sunday after Divock Origi’s winning goal right at the depth.

The loss was only the Toffees’ second in their past eight Premier League matches but it means that December started in the worst possible fashion for Marco Silva’s side, who will now be looking for a response in the coming weeks.

Newcastle United travel to Merseyside tomorrow evening in the next game the very busy festive period and Everton fans have continued their quest for Silva to make changes, heaping further criticism on Theo Walcott.

After a decent start to the campaign, Walcott’s performances have decreased significantly and fans want changes to be made, with Ademola Lookman eagerly awaiting further chances, and another forgetful performance at the weekend has provided the fans with further ammunition.
