Everton’s game with Man Utd this weekend is sure to be a good one, and we’ll have to be at our best to come out the other side with a win. Despite all of Man Utd’s flaws, they’re a huge side with massive players – and everyone must impress in order to get what we all want at the end of the game.
That need extends to the Goodison Park faithful, too, and Marco Silva knows that. Ahead of the game with Man Utd, Silva has sent a message to the Everton fans that they’re sure to love.

Silva clearly views the Everton crowd as the twelfth man, and with good reason. When Goodison Park is in full voice it’s an intimidating place for any opposition team to go; no matter how big or bold the personalities within the team are. Whilst this game is away at Old Trafford, the same principles still apply, and the travelling Evertonian support can have a big impact.
A win against the Red Devils will certainly put down a marker for our intentions this season, but without the fans’ passion and desire, the Toffees will find it tough.
