Many Everton fans have been reacting on Reddit to a report by UOL Esporte, which claimed reported target David Neres will leave Ajax in the summer.
The chances the Brazilian is sold by Director of Football Mark Overmars is now considered as ‘fact’, having promised the winger that he can move on this year so long as the Dutch outfit receive an offer of €50million (£42.9m) or more.
Neres’ representatives are now working on the basis of this promise to secure the 22-year-old a new home for the 2019/20 season, and UOL again link the Toffees to the Sao Paulo-native.
We are not the only club said to be interested in what the 1-cap international has in store, though, as UOL add that AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain will offer some opposition.
Arsenal and Manchester United have also been said to be preparing moves for Neres, themselves, while Chelsea and Liverpool also hold varying degrees of interest in the Champions League Semi-Finalist.
What may work in our favour, however, is that the 12 goal, 15 assist sensation is represented by the same agents who helped to bring Richarlison and Bernard to Goodison Park last year, and Neres is keen to test himself in England.
