What a fantastic way of signing off from Premier League action before the international break gets underway that was.
The Blues went to Leicester with the ability to win the game, of course, but the Foxes also had the capability to produce so it was always going to be a close-run thing.
In the end, though, we were the better side and it was certainly exciting to see how the talent on the pitch was beginning to gel.
With Bernard, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Theo Walcott and Richarlison all playing together we have a front four that will give any defence problems and for me Bernard was one of our best players today.
For sure, he is going to get targeted given his flair and technique but if he can ride the challenges and keep at it he’s going to be some player.
I’m not the only one that enjoyed his display, though, so let’s see what was said on Twitter:
“Bernarddd, Bernard will tear you apart again” 🎶 #EFC #Everton #LEIEVE

Well our summer business already looks extremely good. Digne, Richarlison and Bernard look like great signings. Zouma a crucial loan. Still yet to see Gomes and Mina! #EFC
