Rumoured interest in Manchester City ‘keeper Joe Hart has been doing the rounds with Everton said to have an interest in making a loan move, battling rivals Liverpool for the England international?

He may, or may not, be at Goodison Park this season to get his football but Ronald Koeman has confirmed Oumar Niasse’s future will be away from Everton.

Well it will be if he wants to play.

In his pre-match press conference Koeman was questioned about Everton loan interest in Hart, after the confirmed he’s open to a loan exit from Man City after losing his first-team place at the Etihad Stadium and seemingly having no future under Pep Guardiola.

Koeman was coy, saying.

‘There are so many players linked to us that today it is Joe Hart, tomorrow it`s another. I prefer not to speak about players at other clubs. It`s not about numbers of new players, it`s all about what the team needs, in what positions. That`s not stuff for the press. We need to keep that information inside. But one of our jobs is to improve the team.’

He wasn’t as withdrawn when it came to talking Niasse! The £13.5m signing by Roberto Martinez earlier in the year wasn’t handed a squad number and barely featured in pre-season, which tended to suggest he had no future at Goodison.

It was confirmed he needs to move on.

‘If he likes to play football then he needs to leave.’

Now we’ll see if the striker does go.

As for Hart’s possibly loan arrival from Man City, this wouldn’t be a bad move if Koeman really does feel he needs to bring in another ‘keeper would it so I doubt many would oppose this, would you?
