Everton have submitted a MASSIVE bid for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, believed to be around £40 million plus £5 million in add-ons, according to the latest reports.
Everton have, today, confirmed the appointment of Sean Dyche as their new manager after the sacking of Frank Lampard last week after his side entered a really poor run of form.
However, just a day prior to his appointment, the club confirmed the sale of Anthony Gordon to Newcastle United for around £45 million.
Seeing as Everton did need a serious cash injection if they were to complete any signings during the January transfer window, the money raised from the sale provided much-needed funds for Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell going into the later stages of the window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Everton have submitted a bid of around £45 million for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. Chelsea must now decide whether they want to keep the Englishman in their plans for the rest of the campaign.

Gallagher spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace where he performed very well, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists in 34 league appearances.
He was expected to become a starter upon his return to Chelsea. However, although he has been given a decent level of game time under new boss Graham Potter, he has only managed to amass 2 goal contributions in 18 appearances for the blues.
