Oumar Niasse had a tough time last night against Rotherham and I think it is safe to say that it is now time to let him go.
He’s a hard-worker and will always put a shift in but his quality just isn’t good enough.
I didn’t like how Ronald Koeman treated him whilst he looked a bit better under Sam Allardyce but that was probably thanks to the football we played which was basic stuff.
Now, though, under Silva and his approach he has been given a chance and it just doesn’t look like he is up to it.
He’ll always get respect for his industry but at the end of the day we need quality and I think it is time to let him go and try and get some cash for him.
Whether or not that happens remains to be seen but we have just over a day to try and make it happen.
