It looks like Everton have made a transfer mistake here

Nikola Vlasic played in the Champions League this week for CSKA and did a fine job in the process.

The attack-minded player joined the club not so long ago but did not exactly force his way into the side – nor was he really given a chance by ‘Big Sam.’

Marco Silva seemed pretty reluctant to give him the opportunity to play, too, and so he went off to Moscow with the aim of playing more first-team football.

He’s certainly got that now, too, with him playing regularly and improving in every game – scoring and setting one up last night.

Certainly, he looks a player of some class and perhaps we were a bit hasty to let him go.

You never know, of course, he might have still struggled here but to perform at the highest level takes some doing and he did last night against Plzen.

We’ll just have to wait and see what happens here.
